95 Maxima Self Diagnostics

I have a 95 MAxima SE...

I went through the "Help Engine Check Light" Sticky to read on how to do the Diagnostics.

So when I went to remove the plastic covering by my gas pedal, I could not remove it... It was not screwable like the thread stated. I tryed sticking a flat head screwdriver behind the plastic screw and pull but nothing...

Am I doing something wrong...

(NOTE: I do not have the "CHECK ENGINE" Light on just wanted to check everything out."

It isn't a screw, but one of those body trim fasteners that sometimes can be stubborn. Just give a moderate pull on the whole plastic cover and they fasteners should pop right out. There should be two of them. Good luck.

if it looks like a crew head... turn it a little and it should pop out a bit... then it will come off alot easier.
