eliminate speed gov. no CEL

i clipped the pink wire on the pcm and took it to a CLOSED COURSE and check out to see if it eliminated my top speed governor and it did. however i dint get a check engine light! i dont know if it has to do w/ the fact that my car is a 5spd but i dont need a toggle switch or nothing! did we know this already? shoulda done this mod 2yrs ago...i hate my own lazyness!

when i bought the maxima there werent any emblems on it plus it came w/ pwr windows, mirrors, aluminum 15inch wheels, factory pwr sunroof and a spoiler so i assumed it was a gxe. that was before i knew that they didnt come in a stick but no matter what kind of maxima you own its a never an embarrassment if its nice. theres alot of gle on the org that will put your car to shame on the track and in the showroom. :

power windows, mirrors were standard. You'll know if its a GLE if its got auto climate control, black gauges, wood trim, etc. A 5 speed and black gauges is a sure GXE indication unless you've done swaps.

Now my car is almost stalling whenever i slow down in neutral so i raised the idle to 1,000 rpm but i want to be able to put it back to normal without it almost stalling all the time. I was going on an offramp today and i actually did stall on the offramp and i lost power everything and almost hit the wall.

go to autozone and ask for a 2 terminal toggle switch. if you pay more than $5 you got ripped off. cut the speed sensor wire and solder a wire to each end of where you cut the wire. run both wires to your toggle switch. when the toggle switch is in the on position your speed sensor is fully fuctional and being monitored by the ecu. when you flick the switch off your ecu will not be able to monitor the speed sensor and will therefore be able to go as fast as the car will take you.
