Glazed pads refers to the fact that the abrasives on your brake pads has worn out and is dull, therefore reducing your braking efficiency. This could be fixed by passing an abrasive stick on your pads and removing the old abrasives to expose fresh ones, this is supposed to happen on its own usually, but it doesnt always.. You can tell if this is the case by looking at your pads and seeing if it looks "glazed" and shiny.

Or you could just buy new ones....

I'm actually need to get some new pads and rotors myself, what's recommended as far as pads/rotors go? I need new pads all around and new rotors for the front.

I think hands down no one can complain about OEM Pads being a good replacement. as for Rotots I've heard some good things about the Brembo Blanks.

yes MDeezy, you are right...I definitely agree with you...Brembo rotors are GREAT cause there much cheaper than OEM rotors and OEM pads are the best since there is no squeaking and medium dust and offcourse made of a high quality material...

i hear mentioning of glazing is also caused when you do a hard stop and a thin layer of glass is created on the brake pad and rotor, is this similar or am i jus completely off.
