i went to the auto show this past week and i saw the lambo doors on the 300c havent seen them on a max yet and i want to do this mod now to the front dorrs wait a couple of months and then do suicide doors on the rears how much would this cost to do and it to be high quality for everyday open and close?? then maybe shave handles and pop doors up with keyles entry??

I like the idea of Lambo doors, I wouldnt think it would look good on a 300C. But I've seen pics of it on a Max (5th Gen) It was . . . okay. If you like it Go for it. But I think Lambo doors are best pulled off witha 2door car.


Did you guys know that the Tiburon comes with lambo doors? Its an extra option you can choose.

yea I'm serious about the tibby, it not bad of a car.

I'd save the lambo doors for the Z that would look sexy.



Also if you going to get a Z I'd suggest getting an 05+ they all come with 300HP versus the 03 that still had 287hp.

I don't think it would disgrace a maxima; I think a maxima with lambo doors would disgrace the idea of lambo doors. I feel this "mod" should only be done to hi end sports cars not cheap grocery haulers.

i agree this is a mod for the higher end vehicles, but its been made avaible to anyone to get on any to help make any car feel more high end. It just a matter now of wheather or not people feel a Maxima is too far down on the chain to be considered "worthy" of this mod.

I know if I had a 240 (s13) and I had the money laying around and I wouldnt mind putting it on. But I myself wouldnt put it on a maxima.

 

i am def gettin the Z i cant afford an 05 but i found an 04 for 26k track edition w/10,300 miles on it i think im gonna take it when i get my license back or im gonna keep my eyes open for a used one if that one gets sold

 

lambo doors are played out. I have been to many shows and it seems everones got them, just suicide all 4 doors, that would look good. not many cars have suicide doors now. I wish I had of waited instead of painting my car for last show season and went on and suicide doors on my max. Plus all the kits are crap, the door is so flemsy it wobbles in the wind when they are open.

i wouldnt mind having the rear doors suicide doors. but i have yet seen a max with them.

 

Here is a link I found that has picts of a max with lambo doors. According to the site, the kit alone (parts only) cast a little less that 2 grand.... Not really sure if it's woth it. I don't think is completely awful...

They look like the axis se7en mod's in black with a polished lip. And that last max looks fugly.

Personally I don't like the look on a 4 door but the suicide doors in the back might look ok.

 

It generally doesn't look good on 4 doors.

Well even if you do like it I don't think $2000-$5000 is worth getting lambo doors.

 

putting lambo doors on a car is WAY harder than it seems. And even if you do have the time and effort to do it, most of the kits are PURE GARBAGE. if you dont know what your doing you might end up bowing out your fenders trying to align the doors or shutting them when they arent alligned right...ive seen it happen on a fiew accords...

now...for the suicide doors on the max...good luck with that one! if you pull it off, ill give you mad props, but look at the way our doors are desinged, how the hell would you get that to work? and even if you did, it just wouldnt look right....

if you wanted to do something custom, shave everything and keep it at that...just like that white max...looks really clean and doesnt come with half the hassle of lambo doors, altho setting up door poppers is a journey within itself, i would hate to do lambo doors AND door poppers.. that would be CRAZY

there are plenty of other things you can spend the money on...with the lambo doors, your half way to a turbo kit...i rather have that than make my max look like a wanabe lamborghini (did i spell it right? )

I think a Skyline RB26 AWD conversion kit from Stillen would make a nice addition to the ebay rims and massive nostrils.
