My Maxima=Owned by Vandalism

I was in a hit and run accident in february. Luckily, i was able to get plates and witnesses, and had the guy become liable for the accident. It was enough to repaint my bumper and replace my tailight. I played with the idea of throwing in some more money for a full paint job, but i decided to save my money.

Since i had no parking near my house, my car was parked up the street from me. I never had a problem with my block, but when i went out to drive my mom to work, someone had keyed my car. The drivers side, passenger side, and part of the hood. It must have happened overnight or whatever, but i was pretty furious.

The worst part? I do not have comprehensive like i thought i did. So now i have to throw in the money i didnt want to spend for another paint job.

no pics yet. a bit too depressed. ill take some when i get back to the bodyshop.

i wish they made an invisible "bra" that they make for the front of our cars. (read it somewhere, not sure what it is.)

I just looked into it and it seems they only sell the bra. I've seen it being installed on TV before and and it covers the front bumper, lights, hood and fenders.

Go set up a surveillance camcorder. See what's up. Criminals always return to the scene of the crime.

I dreamed of a similar thing last night. Snuck up on them with an iron skillet. The guy had a pistol and the skillet stopped the bullet and then I commenced on pounding some grey matter out of soft skulls.

Wow that sucks man, i know the hit and run feeling, my car was slammed in my dorm parking lot, from what i heard from the witness who wouldnt talk about who did it, only that a bike hit it. ERRRRR so pissed. I dont understand why people key others cars, if they have a problem with someone take it to them fight or something don't go after an innocent car that has done nothing but look good. Jealous bastArd$

Thanks for the support everyone. It was a one of a kind paint job, and i'm pretty tired of getting my car screwed with (this and the accidents.) I just want to get it fixed and back to normal.

looks like its going to be close to 1800 to repaint the car. I'll probably go ahead and drive off a cliff.

Keying a car is the most disrespectful thing to do to somebody's car in my opinion. i dont know how anybody could actually go through with such a thing. sorry to hear about your car man, i hope you catch the guy so that you can get the money from him. good luck.

Def sorry to hear about that. It's a lose lose situation it seems with insurance. You pay an arm and a leg for insurance, and nothing seems to ever happen, and then you dont get full coverage, and it never fails something happens.
