Weak startup
I've searched and read a few threads regarding this, but no concrete answer besides the obvious.
When my car is cold, i have a weak startup. It takes just a bit longer to turn over and when it does, rpms kick up, drop low to the point where it feels like its going to shut off, but then back up again..and keeps at a fairly low rpm.
Im suggesting its my starter going bad, and that i have a cheap panel filter since returning my intake back to stock. I'll probably do some cleaning with the TB, MAF, replace the intake with a KN panel filter. any other suggestioins?

It might be the old panel filter that's clogged. I had a weird idle once, with an old dirty HKS foam filter. I put the K&N in and it idles better now. It's not that the K&N was so good, it's just because it was a clean filter.
It's always harder for an engine to start in cold weather. Don't sweat it too much.
THe oil is cold, etc. Check the MAF also.
