how to launch at a track?

I'm just wondering how to get optimal performance out of your 5-spd max at the track from the start. I don't really know how to launch well.

What I do, rev up to about 2k rpm at 2nd stage light....when the light hits green, I dont just f8cking floor it, you gota fastly acclerate with trying NOT to break traction. Once you get past about 4500rpm then I nail it and go.

rev to about 2k-2.5k and go on the 3rd yellow right before the green. if you start to let out your clutch right before the green, by the time the green comes on youll be moving and have a near perfect reaction time, i always do.

exactly what 96stillen_max says, i use a very similar method, start off at 2K and quick slip the clutch w/o peeling out.

I'd think torque braking would be a better/safer technique for autos, but I don't know for sure.
