i had tan cloth and went to a junk yard and bought the whole interior for $250 but the airbags were blown so i had to keep the tan ones then i decided why not go all out and two tone the whole car, i like it, its not for everyone though

Nice start, looks good. Not a fan of the dual exhaugst. Wheels & some Cefiros would improve the exterior alot!

Oh so you bought the black dashboard and stuff? I'm planning on changing my entire interior to black. So far I've only replaced the tan carpeting. I've heard of people who painted their dashboards and stuff. Some special paint that soaks in. I've also heard dashboards that are taken off and installed squeek and are kind of deformed around the edges. WHat do you think is the best way of going about changing your entire interior?

my car doesnt squeak at all you have to make sure all your bolts are tight, also the yard doesnt care if they brake anything so watch them like a hawk when they take the stuff out, as for painting it, i dont really care for it, i would rather have the OE look plus the glossy look isnt to appealing

Who rated this thread with 4 stars??? site looks good. I really like the trunk. How'd you do that? Seriously, I helped CleanMax98 with the trunk. I30_DRIVER, I'll try to write something up for you but it's pretty simple.

My thought
Trunk = nice
dual exhuast looks nice (big waste o' money)
the 2 tone is a great idea, i think the tan is hella ugly
does tan even match with white????????
id never do that to my white max with my black leather interior

Just my opinion.....

You should ditch the tan and install the rest of the black interior parts. I have a pebble beige Max, if I can find an entire black enterior for a really good price, I'll totally ditch the tan interior on mine. But I'll also have to get matching floor carpeting and seats otherwise, tan carpet and seats with black would be hideous in my book.

I'm glad you got the suspension in your mod list. The 4x4 look isn't in anymore.

lol thanks dr.max i have a black carpet it just needed a few hours of scrubbing the wear and tear out of it and now is finally restored, it is going in within the next week. I wanted to go all black but i dont feel like buying a new air bag, i also just got rid of my black door inserts, black B-pillars got cracked , and the weatherstripping around the doors the yard did not include

I think the black carpet will make things a lot more even, the tan carpet is ugly

as for the 4x4 look i hate it and cant wait for my drop!!!

That would be a perfect opportunity to get a nice aftermarket steering wheel. You'd have to ditch the cruise control pod but you can probably relocate that.

That means the entire dash is also tan. You can paint the entire dash, I think someone in the org did that. Saved himself tons of money but it is a lot of work.

i dont think you understand, i pruchased everything inside the car at a yard for $250 I mean everything! the bags were blown but i had my tan ones, i took the tan dash out and put the black dash in with the tan bag instead of buying a black bag, they also didnt include the black door stripping so that also stayed tan, so with those peices tan i decided to put more tan parts in such as the air vents and door peices, the dash is black and always was black i still have the old tan one in my basement

Now that we're on the same page, can't you paint the airbag cover black?

How so? Black has no other shade. Anyhow, as long as you're happy with that then I guess its all good. Just don't add any LED's in that interior! Otherwise we'll have to kick you out to the Maxima Ricer forum.

You have a great looking car. Wish I had it. I like what you did with the intake. Get some rims and you are good to go.
