A friend of mine has a '96 SE 5 speed with leather, Bose, auto climate, and sunroof. The car was sold to him last year with only one Nissan key, no remote. It suprised me that his car did not have keyless along with the aforementioned options.

Q: Is it possible the remote was just lost and the car DOES have keyless entry?

I have read the sticky on re-programming the remote, I assume you can just pick up a used one (ebay) and program it following the "key in and out of the igntion X number of time in X seconds" routine?

my car came without no key either. once it has that securitly light then you could use the fob


go in car lock doors with auto lock
push key in 8 times in about 10 seconds wait for hazards
turn to accessory and press the lock botton
