Got another CEL light, pulled the code from the ECU and showed 0103. Looked in the stickies and found out its the engine coolant temp sensor. Further reading the stickies, it says that the 4th gen ECTS is located in the water outlet tube close to the engine end of the upper radiator hose. There are two sensors in that area. The ECTS is right next to the dashboard temperature gauge sending unit.

Just to make sure I got the right one, its the fatter looking one right? On my Chiltons, the photo is a bit inaccurate as it shows them closer to the throttle body. Looking at my engine this morning, its actually situated below this black plastic looking buffering unit for the air intake. And they are connected to the metallic part of the engine.

Can someone confirm this for me so I can check this thing this weekend? Thanks guys.
