Question about girl friends altima

well i know its not a maxima but its a nissan and figurred maybe someone knows. when ever the car is started there is a nasty squeeling/rattling sound. i checked under the hood and think it may be coming from the idler pulley. the sound is continous once started but worse right at start up. if this is it does anyone know if its hard to change.

On a Maxima, it's easy to do. Check altima forums.

Yeah, it does. Could be a serpentine belt in need of replacing.
