posting pics question

alright, im going to try to post some pics of my maxima tomorrow and i have a few questions. how do people get the 56k? ( you know, all big-i dont want that) also, since this is my first time posting, where is the best place to post em? after i get em on my digital, can i just email to someone and they can post em for me? can anyone please help me?

you should host them at places like photobucket.com or imageshack.com. Once you upload them there they will give you the IMG tag that you put in your post. You can usually resize them easily there too. Then when you preview your message, you should see the pics there. Good luck.

thanks guys for the infomation. i will hopefully have pics tomorrow, finally after seeing all these maximas and mine 'sits in the dark'

if you have like microsoft picture it or a photo shop on your PC go there and change the pixels until you find the size you want it. I shrunk mine done from 600+ KB to like 30KB.

ISP is your internet service provider.
56k is the connection speed.
When people post "56k beware", it means the photos are large and on a 56k connection it will take a while to load the picture.
If you dont want your photos to be large, you have to resize them using a photo edtiting software of some sort.
Then to post them onto the org, you have to find a place to host them. Once the pictures are hosted, you can then post them onto the org.
