97' Conversion *Pics*

Alright just got my front 97' conversion done and rear 97' bumper on. I had alot of trouble with the body shop and I came to a point of giving up. But the end result came out good. Now I just need to pick up the grill from the shop tomorrow. Lemme Know what you guys think.

Wow that is going to be major scrapping in that first pic!

Other that than its looking very good, nice and clean get the grill put in and I'd think you were a 97.

so you have the rear 97-99 bumper but trunk is still 95-96. how is fitment between them? i still liek the look of the 95-96 maximas cause everybody is ditching that loo kand going to the 97-99 look so it makes the 95-96 maximas that more special.

It fits perfect. Everything lined up nicely. Of course I used OEM bumpers and not aftermarket stuff. I think I'm going to keep my trunk because it still makes it a 96. The reason I did the 97' rear bumper swap was because I want to put the 97' Stillen rear kit on it. And the reason I did the front end bumper and grill is because I can use the 97-99' stillen lip.

perfectly dropped too, i like. the conversion makes it look good. i like that you went just for the 97-99 bumper cause you gotta have some 95-96 in it! haha great ride

What are the differences between the front/rear end of a 95 vs. 99?

Did you buy the 97-99 shock absorbers, retainers, and brakets? Or did u just put the 97-99 bumper on top of the original stuff?

No I just bought a used OEM bumper. Everything else lined up nicely. I'll tell all of you guys one thing. If you have a Pearl White maxima and you want to do the conversion spend alil more and get it the paint blended into the fenders and rear quarter. I made that mistake and I had to do alot of wet sanding and polishing to get my body to look good as the bumpers.
