Hey fellas, i have a rather small questions thats been buggin at me. I switched my Bose Headunit on a 98 out for a pioneer aftermarket one. I had to buy that gain kit from crutchfield so that i could use the aftermarket adapter. I have one question tho, i set the gain all the way to one side cuz the manual said do it until u hear static, which i didnt hear so i put it full. i was wondering if that was a good idea or not, i want my system at peak volume but it seems like the volume sounds a lil less than it is supposed to. Did i mess with the gain 2 much?? or is it just that my speakers arent as powerful (talkin bout the stock bose speakers).
