car battery died, cant deactivate alarm

my car has been sitting for about 2 weeks now. today i tried to move it and it wouldnt start. i found out that some how over thoes 2 weeks, the battery was drained. so i pulled up another car to jump it, and right as i connected the jumper cables, the stock alarm starts going off and i cant deactivate it. meanwhile im sitting there trying to deactivate this piece of **** and the horn just keeps going off. anyone know what could be wrong? OR could someone tell me how to deactivate the horn so i can troubleshoot this without it going off?

use your key to unlock and/or lock (cant remember which one)the door, that will stop the alarm from sounding.
