I have no lift but need to get all fours off the ground.

I am going to paint my calipers with the G2 caliper paint system. After i mix the paint, i only have two hours for application of two coats and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how i could lift my max to get all four wheels up at the same time, without an actual car lift of course. thanks.

Mix half he paint at a time. Also you have 4-6 hours of working time. You have 2 hrs of curing time, before you put the wheels back on.

I did mine one at a time using the spare tire jack. Took me exactly 3 hours doing it this way. Used the caliper paint from Pepboys and coated 3 times each after each dry and put the wheel back on even before drying so I can work on the next wheel.

Buy yourself a decent jack and 4 jackstands and put the car up in the air. Easiest way and you will get a life of use out of those stands and jack for your further adventures with cars.

Just buy the proper equipment! It might save your life. Buy atleast a 2 1/2 ton floor jack (or else the wheel wont be high enough). Around $50 at Walmart.

You could use the factory lift if you really have too. Make sure the parking brake is up.

Yeah but those, the jack not stands, only go what, 14-17" high? It's enough for this job but if you're under the car for a long time having it as high as possible is a good thing.

Yea, I agree with Dave, I cheaped out and bought something like up to 17" for only $20, but now feel as though I need the next step (like the $50ones)...it just wasn't comfortable changing tranny fluid with the car that low...my best advice is don't cheap out, and get the right stuff the first time.

Get a floor jack, and four jack stands!!!!!!
The jack stands will give you plenty of room underneath.
Their pretty cheap as well.
Trust me, their a good investment.
