Brake specs

Anyone know the rear rotor minimum thickness?

I've looked everywhere on the internet and can't find anything.

I just had rebuilt calipers and brake pads installed last week. My rotors were in good shape. The owner of the shop said he wouldn't turn the rotors on my Maxima because they are too thin to begin with. Yet he always turns front rotors which are thicker.

The Haynes manual does not state the minimum thickness but does say "the minimum wear (or discard) thickness is cast into the disc. The disc thickness can be checked with a micrometer."

Thanks alot mzmgt. My rears are 9mm so they must be fine. There is only a 1mm difference b/w new rotors (9mm) and the minimum thickness(8mm) so I hope my vernier caliper is measuring properly. Not much room for error here. Take care.
