JDM Underdrive Crank Pulley Kit

i bought this from ebay a couple of days ago, and i just got it in the mail today.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
If anyone has it, please let me know what to expect. Also, i went to the stillen website where i saw the unorthodox crank pulley that has three places for belts, the one i received in the mail only has two. does anyone know what that means?

do you feel any big difference in the way it drives and do you see an increase in power?

you get better acceleration, its not that much horsepower but you feel the difference.
And in the future, you might want to ask questions or opinions here before you get something youre not to sure about.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought JDM was when you get a replacement engine from Japan. I didnt know JDM was an actual brand....

Maybe i'm a moron too because I dont see a point in underdrive pullies unless you have a supercharger and you want more boost.

Especially no point when the frickin pulley costs like $200

If you have a SC, underdriving the crank pulley would result in less boost and less belt contact (more chance of squeeling). UR makes a lightened stock size crank pulley.

I would get a more reliable UDP than this. Unorthodox seems to be the most proven. There was a group deal for a motorstorm UDP for like $90 shipped. I don't know if you can still get it through them. I would rather that than something fake "JDM" from ebay.

JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. It is not a brand but many people put it in their brand names since it sounds like it will make you fast. I can tell you right now this did not come off the Cefiros in Japan. Just like how the "JDM" black bumper lights on ebay are so cool since Cefiros don't have bumper lights.

I meant underdrive the SC pulley so it spins faster.

I still dont see the point to underdrive your crank pulley but whatever floats your boat.

A lighter pulley might make a little difference. I guess one day when I hit the lottery i'll do a clinical study

Yes smaller pulley on the SC will make more boost.

By underdriving the crank pulley and lightening it, you will have less mass to accelerate on the crank and you will have less loss from the belt driven accessories. I know UR only underdrives by about 15%. Anything more than that is not worth it.
