Im having a tough time finding rims to buy. I have a 97 GLE, and i really hate how those wheels look. I want something that looks like the SE 4th Gen Rims, but i want something in like 17 inches. I really do not know, i was looking at the Momo GT1's, but i have heard that momo wheels are very heavy. Please help !

I think you mean SSR GT1's.

You should also check out the Moda R6, and maybe Konig Villains.

The SSR GT1's and Moda R6's are both available from http://www.tirerack.com and the Konig Villians are available from http://www.discounttire.com.

The SSRs are the most expensive. I think they are like ~$250/e. The Moda R6 are ~$214 for a 17"x7.5" and the Konig Villains are available for ~$175 for 17"x8".

I'm actually considering the Villains for my car.

Here is a link to a thread that I posted a little while back. Someone responded with a lot of useful information and links about rims. I think his name was 'fastmax97se'.

Good Luck with your purchase, and I hope this helps!

No, there is a set of rims, by momo, called GT's. I just got them confused with the SSR GT1s. There is a site to look at these wheels...it is
http://www.wheeltech.com/Momo/momo.html

Check Out the GT's. They are AWESOME!!!

call discount tire direct

give discount tire direct a call.. and/or go to your local discount tire store. Konig villains go for about $125 a piece nowadays in 17".... they are old (still a good looking wheel). i had them on my MX6. they tried to sell some to my brother when he put wheels on his BMW this spring.... offered them to him for $90 a piece (thats because we are friends with like 4 guys there however). he considered it, but we have a friend with them already on a BMW, and that woulda been kinda stupid. i highly doubt anyone charges full price for villains anymore, they ARE like 3 years old... so shop around. also, check out the fondmetal 5800 (discount tire direct ad)... its a nice wheel... has an AC Schnitzer look to it, but costs about 1/4 the price. its what my brother ended up putting on his car.
