89 is a pretty normal trap speed. A dirty IACV would not be slowing you down anyway...

The IACV is right behind the throttle body; Follow the air intake from the filter/maf back to the throttle, where the intake manifold curves around. The IACV is back up toward the firewall, and has three wiring harnesses going into it - one is gray (middle), and the other two are pink and purple. Pretty easy to take off and clean, held on by three bolts - the back bolt is kinda tough to get back on...

Is there a gasket that needs to be replaced when you take off the IACV?

I just cleaned the IACV. It was fairly easy to remove. I used a 3/8" driver, 12mm deep socket and 10mm deep socket. Its a little tight but you can manuever with a little patience. The key is to remove the small screw holding bracket to get to the right upper screw. After its removed you want to use Throttle Body cleaner to spray everything on the IACV. I also took a rag and sprayed some throttle body cleaner just to get any dirt inside where the IACV is mounted. It was real dirty given that I have 120k miles. After your done just do the reverse and remember to tighten the three mounting screws to about 22 lb-ft.

With IACV removed do not forget to clean EGR pipe entrace to intake.

Replace IACV gasket.
