how bout brake rotors?

just replaced my pads, and noticed some uneveness in my rotors and alot of corrision and rust around the vents and outer rim, so i'm guessin its time for replacement.

would you guys still recomend OEM Nissan rotors, if so where can i get them at a decent price

i wouldn't mind gettin some slotted ones, i don't really like the look of drilled ones, anyone have suggestions?

thanks

Get some blanks from Autozone. About $25 each.

yeah get those rotors replaced, id recommend getting OE blanks, but you can also go with brembo OE style blanks or slotted. you can find em anywhere i think. just gotta search for it.

as for the guy who posted about 300zx and cobra rotors/calipers, modification is needed for installation. it is NOT a direct bolt on. plus you will need at least 17" wheels with enough clearance for the fairly wide 4 piston calipers.

Doesnt necessarily mean they're bad... Rotors rust overnight if it rains or any type of condensation forms. The only place they stay rust free is where the pads make contact which then scraps that layer of rust off that forms from sitting for awhile... The rest of the rotor definitely gets rusty. If they aren't warped and haven't been turned down yet then why replace them?

Get brembo slotted ones, they will work great on your car unless if you pay for some oem ones that go for $105 each compared to brembo's $150 for both.

I have my ways....

EDIT: Well basically I have access to an account with a parts company. I got a pair of Rear rotors, Set of OEM pads for the front and rear, all for $120 shipped. And I got it 2 hrs after I ordered it. Talk about fast service. Maybe it was $22 each, cause that doesnt add up right. Either way, Its a hell of a deal.
