CEL..now i see it, now i dont

Weird thing happend with my CEL..A few days ago my CEL went on and found out it was the the Front Bank O2 Sensor code. So I was about to put in a order to get a new one, then today when I went to drop off my brother at school, magically the CEL went away...The same thing also happened with my friends Altima. Does that mean the code is still there, or the O2 sensor magically started working again? Any explanations? Thanks..

The ECU will clear the code after a certain number of on/off cycles and a certain driving pattern (assuming it doesn't detect the failure during this time). Thats why your light is now off.

Yup - most likely you have a sensor that is getting lazy. It will repost. If you've already ordered a replacement sensor, just swap it out. O/wise, you can just wait until it reposts.
