Adjustment of TPS and Idle Speed

Adjustment of TPS and Idle Speed

I took of my TPS, IACV, and TB yesterday and cleaned everything up. My TPS was out of spec so I adjusted it so that it read 500 to ~4000 ohms in the various throttle positions. Then I went to adjust the idle like I have done before but it acts differently now that the TPS is adjusted. Without the TPS plugged in, the car starts and then dies unless I give it some gas. Then it will stay running and settle down. I adjustd the idle, plugged the TPS back up, and started the car to check everything - my idle was at 1400. Then I turn the car off, start it back up, and it acts normal? Does this sound right? I have never had the high idle/stalling before while adjusting my idle.
