Yes or No? Rim opinions.

What do you guys think? They're 18x7.5 and they weigh 22.8 pounds. Is that heavy and will it slow me down alot from the stock rims? And how much do you think is a good price for a used set, with just a couple scratches? I might be picking these up soon, not possitive though.

By the way, they're Arospeed RS-GT

2 things, look the circumference, if is the same as your original, because if not, your speed gonna change.

second , always check the alignment, if the wheels turn correctly.
Thats my advices , I already bought mags of totalled car, on first look , it seems ok, but its not...

And for your cars speed , I really dont know, for my experience , i never feel a difference , but by logic: more heavy = less fast

Come on deezy.

This guy talks about checking circumference. Of course if you upgrade from 16s to 18s the circumference will change.

No Child Left Behind is a program put in place by the Bush administration to make sure that everyone who goes to school knows the basics. Like reading, writing, and math.

Only it doesnt work... but thats politics and this is not the forum for it.

anyone ever have Skyline rims on their maxima? I found a set that are pretty much brand new. They are R34 GTR rims, very nice looking, but I think they might stick out a bit. Let me know...

good price i paid about 800 all together for my 5th gen SE's and fuzion zri's, so i would say you did well for 18's and pretty expensive tires

Anyone know about the lug pattern? They came off a WRX which is 5x100, but I read online that they're 5x100 and 5x114.3 because of the extra lug holes. Is this true?

http://www.slickcar.com/productdetai...ProductID=1515 shows them as 5x100/114.3. With no option to change, so I'm guessing they fit both patterns. Correct?

well at least the person used some commas...

The rims look nice, but they don't look like they're worth the $250/wheel quote on that link

You're kidding right?

How can we tell if the bolt pattern and offset will fit on your car based on a picture.

Come on man

Is every post you make negative? I'm asking because maybe someone knows someone with these rims. Or they may know if rims with 5x100 and 5x114.3 exist. Or you can take a look at the picture and you can see the pattern. Your first post on this thread was dumb, and now you're adding to it.

When a post is as retarded as yours is, I will comment as such. To refresh your memory, your first post was the following:

Nowhere do you ask if these rims will fit. And how the hell would we know if they fit? We could guess just as well as you could.

Do you ever think that the same rim would come in different bolt patterns and offset?

To answer your current question, not all of my posts are negative. I have posted many many positive posts and I have been on these boards for a few years now and before that I was on the Gen 3 page.

All I can say is that there is a decline in the quality of posts as well as the quality of people who are posting. I'm not saying i'm better than anyone else but some of you need a check up from the head up.

You asked if people liked your cheap ugly rims that everyone sells in the junkyards by shea stadium and they said they loved them. There's your answer.

Now go do yourself a favor and think 74.5 times before you post.

The main idea of this rant is that the same style of rim comes in many offsets and bolt patterns. Therefore by looking at your picture, we would not know if they fit your car.

Listen, I don't care whether you like the rims or not. Or even if you think I'm dumb and you take your time to post about it on a forum. But don't post unless you're trying to help. But I just wanted to know if rims with 2 different bolt patterns do exist. And they do. And I wasn't asking anything about the offset. So please before you take any more of your precious time, think before wasting it posting on how someone is stupid over the internet. I don't care how long you've been here, or how many maximas you've had. Your original post and your last ones weren't necessary. You're first comment about someone else was false. The circumference can be the same.

Thanks to everyone else who posted constructive things to say. And didn't post to make themselves feel better by making fun of something over the internet.

Some info

I know that the stock 16" steel rims and tires cobined weigh around 40 lbs. ... if tires weight around 10 - 15 lbs (I'm not 100% sure), then steel rims are heavier than your alloys.
Also, the width of stock rims is 7", so you should be fine.

Lookin good.
