Pen on armrest. How to clean?

My daughter decided to write her name on the backseat armrest of my wife's Max yesterday, and I can't seem to get the ink out. Here is what I have tried in no particular order. Magic eraser, goo gone, mineral spirits, (I think that's what it was) and simple green. The mark is lighter than it was, but you can see it.

Help!

How am I going to get the milk to stay on the armrest to dissolve it?

how about you use a piece of cloth and dampen it in milk and rub it...and if the ink goes out then move onto another cleaner to clean the milk remainings...you definitely do not want rests of milk on your arm rest

That's right. Go to an auto detailer and ask them what to use.

try oxiclean. if that doesn't work try acetone(nail polish remover). just test it somewhere inconspicuous first to make sure it doesn't discolor the material.

Ink stains are generally a petroleum based stain that requires a different kind of cleaner to get out. Did you try Stoner Xenit and then follow it with a leather cleaner and conditioner?

how deep in there is it? I mean, did your kid actually drill the pen in there or was it kinda brushed up by accidnet on the leather? How about some simple green?

woops- im a tard. Sorry. Id you tried all that and it STILL is not coming out, I would think that unfortunately it is set in and the leather has actually dyed from the ink. Your different attack methods were all pretty strong and I don't know of any other "miracle cure" that will get you outa this one. Sorry man- but keep us posted, cause I would like to know if you do find a product that can take out ink when all the above fail. Personally, I think the leather is now dyed from the ink. ( I could be wrong though) Good luck

wut color is your interior, my g/f's mom is very good at this. she uses something called soft scrub??? usually takes anything off. i mean, if you reallly wanna get the pen mark off, you can sand it down? i sanded my tan interior cause some jack-a$$ before me who had the car decided to glue the back panel of the driver seat back on n used this horrible glue that i used everything n still can't take it off. oh, did you try to use goof-off???? or a paint thinner? but make sure you use gloves, cause that stuff stings...

use a good quality leather cleaner, let dwell for a while than agitate with a soft/medium soft nylon brush (like an old toothbrush) and keep repeating. Also try hairspray, ive had that work for me before. As for the soft scrub that might work just make sure you use the kind WITHOUT BLEACH, it has light abrasives in it so its worth a shot.
