ppl w/ 350z dead pedal...

how do you install this into the car? http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=67840-Z33DP

do you remove the pedal from the assembly and attach that to the spot where it goes or do you somehow install the whole pedal assembly by cutting out part of the old foot rest?

i dremeled a lot of the back off, then screwed it into the carpet and it's been solid for well over a year.

This is for a 5th gen, but it works the same on a 4th.

Here is what it looks like in mine along with 01 AE 5th gen clutch and brake pedals (I have the matching gas pedal, but I still need to install it).

yea that looks good but what do you do to install a dead pedal when the carpet is a little worn and a little ripped? any carpet remodies?
