copper plug gaping?
Chapter 1, section 1-21 of the Haynes manual. Buy a wire-type spark plug gap gauge when you buy the Haynes manual and ensure the gap is set at 0.044" for the NGK BKR5E-11 copper plug. The Haynes manual shows 0.039 to 0.043", but thats for the BKR5ES-11 for the 3rd Gen Maxima. The Haynes manual specifies platinum plugs for 4th Gens as does Nissan.

Never mind what I said. I appologize. I read the title so fast and what I read was "Proper plug gapping?" lol. The answer I gave is for the stock platinum plugs (which I would recommend actually). I can't answer for the copper plugs. I would assume the same gap but I don't want to give an answer based on an assumption.
