Im trying to get a chip for my 96 auto max, lookin for some input.......

I'll do you a favor Cheston,If you are looking for a CPU chip then check out http://www.maximadriver.com and click on ECU group buy info.There is corrently a group buy going down. The chips where just recently made at UPRD and yielded a 30 HP gain to the wheels on a in house Clayton Dyno Jet,so around 35HP to the wheels.This mod will set you back between $425-$475,Depending how many people purchase it,the more people who buy the cheaper it is,so check it out.
