Warpspeed Y Pipe?

Does anyone recomend a warpspeed y pipe because i am interested in one and because it is the cheapest one that i could find. Please write back..i would really like to know what you guys think of the warpspeed. and if this is not a good y pipe, then which is the best affordable y pipe?

thanks

budgetexhaust.com since its stainless steel, i believe the alumnized one is 160 from warspeed???? not so sure, but its only $198.63 i think when it converts to US currency. BUT ITS STAINLESS if you wanna save a couple of more bucks, wait till our US currency is higher than normal when converted into Canadian....heeh...-= )

Now is as good a time as any. The US$ is the strongest it has been against the Cdn$ all year. I have a stainless steel Budget y-pipe and highly recommend it. No fitment issues, no bees in the can noise problems.

i ordered a warpspeed aluminzed for $160 a while ago but kinda have an issue.
when i rev it pass 3500rpm, it kinda rasps, doesn't sound normal. i tightened all the bolts connecting to the straight pipe but dunno why it makin that sound. don't be discouraged by this

i do'nt think that the GD is still on. but come one guys!!!! siersouly. why wouldn't you get stainless steel versus alumnized. in my opinion, everything aftermarket you get exhaust component wise NEEDS to be stainless regardless where you live

i had warpspeed ypipe before. It did last me quite a while, but i have had the flex.piping replaced and the bottom of the ypipe cracked on me about twice now.
i got rid of it and i just ordered myself the stainless steel ypipe from budget.

Total shipped came out to about $218.00

i would recomend the stainless steel one, since they are supposed to last way longer than other materials made for ypipes.
cant wait till it comes in, my car is choking again!

i agree with supporting the budget. although i haven't had my y-pipe stand the test of time, it's been on only about a month or so and i love it! sounds great throughout the powerband, not too loud as the intake often over powers it sound wise. but i got the SS and would recommend it. looks great, and has left me worry free! no probs!

I've had three warpspeed ypipes....... the price is always 160 shipped.. just call in, say you're from the org, and you get it for 160 shipped....
You plan on keeping the car for more than 4 years or so??? Then get the budget... Think it'll be sold by then, spend more, get the budget... I believe they both are equally as effective, and good quality, but the budget will last longer for sure....

is anyone having problems passing smog check especially in california? anyone with personally experience?

i emailed warspeed and they told me i would need to just warm up the car for 30 minutes before testing and i would pass. this method sounds undependable so anyone actually pass there smog check with stock intake and muffler?

An aftermarket y-pipe eliminates 2 pre-cats which are included on the stock y-pipe. The 2 pre-cats work as a the catalytic converter until your car is warmed up and the main one kicks on, this is why they tell you to warm up the car for 30 minutes or so. As long as the car is warmed up properly, you should not have a problem passing inspections. I have no gone through this myself, I purchased my y-pipe after I had my car inspected.
