question about spoiler.

the day has finally come, i knew it would happen but it still sucks.
I get out of my car at a gas station to hear the worst rattling noise, all stemming from the one end of my fin had came unattached to the body. This happened most likely due to the fact I have a 15" in the trunk in a vented/bandpass box(im not sur the name, it has a square port hole but instead of being a hollow box, the port tube hole is routed to the end of the box then turns back toward the sub.) Apparently the bass had broken the white clips that hold it on. Where do i find replacements for these?? or anyone know a better way to attach the fin without chance of rattle? so far to make the situation bearable i have taken 3m dual sided tape and it has helped a little....
any ideas would be great!!
and yes my trunk all lined with dynomat

Wow I think I am in the same boat except I dont even have my system installed yet and my spoiler rattles like crazy because of my muffler. I bought some 3m weather proof tape and Im hoping that will help reduce the rattling. Its only on one side that the spoiler came unattached to the trunk.

Yeah i checked some online parts places...i dont see the clips anywhere either...you have to buy the whole spoiler. Try the junk yard, see if you can pick the clips off of one of the spoilers there. Im lucky i dont have the spoiler problem...atleast not yet...(knock on wood). but yeah..that might be your best bet...

too long, i had the soiler off for a few weeks, parts took a few days, JB weld dries in a few hours. if the spoiler comes off and no bolts break, then 1 hr to replace the plastic parts. if the bolts break, then youre looking at 2 hrs or more even with all the parts ready.

There are some screws that can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes or any hardware store that you can use to secure the spoiler to the trunk. When my car got painted the guy who painted my car noticed mine was rattling a lot, so much that not only was the spoiler not all the way attached to the trunk, but also because my subs built up so much pressure in my trunk that they broke the leds in my spoiler. Try one of the hardware stores and look for coated metal screws. Mines been done for over a year now with no rattles at all, plus I added more sound deadener to the trunk lid itself.

JSutter, Where'd you get your LED bar, it looks like it's white in your sig and I wanted those for a long time now. Thanks.
