What makes your max shine?

I am looking for the best compound, cleaner, glaze, wax combination to remove surface scratches and get the max finish looking wet with a deep gloss that lasts. I have read about 3m, zymol, Finish First, etc. but I am having trouble deciding on a product line or combination of products. As always, your input is much appreciated.

I've been pretty happy with the Meguiar's in the yellow bottles. Don't get the red ones because they are not as good. They make a whole series of cleaners, polishes and waxes.

I use Car Brite polish , it's proffesional grade , and then I use Meguire's paste wax , it really brings out the shine and protects the finish. 3M Hand Polish also works pretty well.

Zaino for Black Max

I just sent the check for Zaino - hope to get it in time for Memorial Day weekend. After reading so many good reviews, I decided to give it a try.

I tried a lot of regular consumer stuff on my previous black G20 and was continually frustrated by the lack of environmental protection. Road salt, acid rain, bird crap, etc. constantly beat up my cars even though I wash and wax regularly. Hopefully, I'll see a difference with Zaino.
