AC question

when i bought my max,one of the ac lines were not connected to the Liquid tank(driver side of condensor). i dont know how long it has been off for. what do you guys think i should do? flush the system or swap out all the lines/parts? i was told that the lines could be contaminated and that the lines might rust from the inside out.
any advice would be great.thanks.

I think by "liquid tank", you're talking about the receiver/dryer (small can close to the outlet of the condenser). Was it unbolted or snapped? My guess is that you could have the system connected up and have a leak test with compressed air. They can then tell you if there is a leak elsewhere and what might need replacing.

The next step is having the evaporator and condenser flushed, change out old oil from the compressor, insert a new receiver/dryer and have the system recharged.
