Engine cleaning !?

i think its the worst i dea to "spray down" your motor. Think about it, our cars are all electronically controlled. So if water gets into one small electrical conection that could cost you alot of money.
I say do it the old fashioned way; get some rubber gloves on, some terry cloths, palmolive/water, armorall(low gloss), Mothers Mag/aluminum polish, wet sanding paper,wax and elbow grease.
Start on one side of the engine bay and just try to litterally whipe down everything with soapy water then armorall (low gloss) or you can use thiss new stuff by Armorall "multipurpose auto cleaner" best stuff i think to clean up hoses and annything else under the hood.
Afterall, i must have done something right to get my motor that clean!!
