MEVI propper working order?

MEVI propper working order?

To all MEVI owners how many of u have it propperly working right? Do u have all the components working or for the most of u, zip tied?
Just curious of your position.

I always run into people with either the Harlem Switch not working and in result they zip tie thier actuators, having the butterflies open.

Same here. Mine didn't work when I installed it but I didnt have any RPM switch when it went on.

The mevi is only effective from 5100+ rpm, surely having it always open would have a detrimental effect, if it was meant to always be open they wouldn't have it switched at rpm in the first place.

Thats really Ghetto....make it work right like its suppose to...its not that hard...use a Harlan and make sure you use a Relay from radio Shack

If you wanna know if its working properly, get on the highway with a medium....get next to it and open it up..the intake Tone with Change when the MEVI opens...or get a light on your dash like i did, so when the MEVI opens, the light clicks on

A zip tied open MEVI results in about a 25lbs loss of torque untill 5K rpms. Very dumb to run that way.
