I had a 94 toyota camry 2 door before I got my max, It was black and It looked ugly as hell and was so annoying to get in and out, plus the beauty of the maxima is and always has been that its a "4 door sports car"....love it or leave it.

The rear window does work right in the first one. (in the parking lot)

The black one with gray background looks good though.

It looks like a clown's maxima....don't like it at all. Besides, two-door sedans are ackward as hell anyways. Look at the Grand Prix 2-door, the last Monte Carlo, the aforementioned Camry coupe, the Grand Am, even the 200 Sx. They all have long doors and suck A$$ stylng wise compared to the original sedan versions.Anyone with eyes can tell that it just doesn't look right....

I wonder though..would an I30 coupe work?

if your going to make a sedan a coupe, then you have to do some body work or it wont flow will with the curves, take the G35 sedan and coupe for example, they both look nice because they are both reworked to look like a sedan and a coupe, unlike the grand prix, camry and other cars where it seems like they shortened the body and took away the rear doors.

The Acura Legend Coupes stand as blaring exceptions though.

I have to admit, I was looking at those before I got the maxima...finding a Type II legend with the 6speed with decent mileage is damn near impossible though.
