It has clear turns and aftermarket rims, so technically it isn't stock, but good to see a sig picture.

Those wheels look a whole lot better on the car than I thought they would. Looks great, now drop some $ for the tint.

Get the struts while you are at it. I'm making the assumption that you are still on the stock suspension. Your OEM struts won't tolerate lowering springs for a really long time. I'm getting lowered next week, and am changing the springs AND struts.

Don't know, my brother bought them for me because he destroyed 2 of my AE rims (I have the SEs now) and took the other two off my hands. He got H&Rs and Konis. I could ask him. Should bee more than 500 though. BTW, struts and shocks are used interchangibly, but cars come with one or the other. We have struts.

I would replace the strut bearings too. They make noise if they are worn significantly.

if I was you guys, I would go with sprint springs unless you are going to put a body kit on. the H&R is not low enough. I have a friend who has sprint/koni and his car is the perfect height and I don't think he scrapes anywhere...

I was going to get the Stillen kit in the group deal, so the H&Rs would have been right for me.

i have the body kit and I'm not lowered. You're car will look 10 times better with the kit alone.. I'm kind of thinking that I would go with the H&R because that way you'll still be able to drive it in the winter and without scraping... but I still kind of like the lower 2" drop that you get with sprints..

The cost for labor is the same for replacing just the springs or both springs and shocks (since all need to be disassembled in the process), so I would get it all done at once.

It's a tradeoff between comfort and the look. I couldn't live with a car that rode as stiff as people say the Sprint/Koni setup rides. It seems to me to be more of an all-out performance setup. My car's a daily driver and veteran of many long highway trips, and it's got a lot more long trips to go. The H&R's give a good look and (relatively speaking) comfortable ride, and that's why I'm going to go with them when I scrape together the funds.

I know what hick town you are talking about. I went to UMass Amherst, so it's kinda close.
BTW, are you going to NJ meet June 3? About 6-7 people from MA are going so let me know if you are interested. We are trying to set up a caravan.

You go to school right across the street from Fidelity down there. Here is the deal with the caravan, if you are coming from Springfield, it is better for you to wait for us at the RT 84 toll booth. Just go thru the booth and pull to the right where the truckers park. We'll confirm the 8:30 departure from one of the Mobil stations on the Pike for guys East of 84. You should probably meet get to the booths down there at 9:00 to be sure you don't miss us. Let me know what you think.

Hey ILoveMyMax, I like the color of your car......I was hoping to find one that color but I didn't. Anyhow, thanxs for posting the pic of the 4X4 Max with rims now I know what mine will look like with rims and not lowered. Ya know I have a choice to either lower it and keep stock wheels or get wheels and not lower it. I think I'll choose to get the rims........:
