more codes from my maxima ..

0302, 0802, 0407. Well i replaced the camshaft position sensor drove the car around. Still idles like **** then i replaced spark plugs to ngk v power just to see if i had a faulty spark plug it seems like that was the problem but i wont really know till tommorow morning. But anyway i wanted to check my ecu for the hell of it and it gave me those codes. Just wondering the best way to go about the EGR valve code MY CAR HAS SERIOUS HESITATION as i was reading from some threads the egr valve can cause this ?? Can anyone shed some light on this issue ?

The EGR can cause a low or uneven idle and like a lurching (hesitation) feeling. I had a friend with it ('96). He got it replaced and all was well.

how about a sporadic idle.... sometimes its fine sometimes it gets to about 500 and shakes my car ? When i hit the accelerator it doesnt pick up immediatly it usually takes a second or 2 for it to pick up i dont think this is normal b ut im not sure.

ive had the egr code 0302 that i can get rid of for over 6 months now and i notice no effects with my idle......only thing i can think of is that your idle is set low......clean out your iacv and readjust your idle

basically the egr system itself is just there to reduce emissions and really doesnt have anything to do with driveability

when i had the new engine put in everything was running great for like 3 weeks then i changed my oil + spark plugs now it gives me this weird idle problem. When i come to a stop my idle goes to 500 or below and then it shakse my car as if i had a bad coil pack.

my car used to do that till i reset the ecu, cleaned out the tb, iacv and readjusted my idle air. then again it could be a spark issue if the gapping on the plugs is off. i also have a bunch of good but used coil packs if you wanted to try one weekend and if they would i would sell them to you.....ive been trying to get rid of them for a while now but its hard to find a buyer for used coil packs. I actually had a broken wire harness problem twice now where i thought it was coil packs. Which explains why i spent almost 400 on new ones for no reason
