those with the stillen aero kit (97-99)

How much did you pay to get your kit painted and installed, or if you did it yourself, how difficult was it? I went to two body shops and one told me theyd to it for $750 and the other told me $1000. I thoght that was rediculous seeing as its only a lip kit. please correct me if im wrong..if your from CT, NY, NJ or MA, could u tell me the price, name and location of the shop. thanks

Cost me about a couple of hundred bucks under the table. I'd suggest that you check around at more autobody shops.

I would paint it at the shop and install by myself.
I had a lip, and it took me like 10 minutes to install.
Paying $1000 is rediculous on my opinion

same, if I got an aero kit, I'd just paint it and install it myself, nothing says "I love my car" like doing it urself... its just more rewarding that way...

test fit it, get it painted, then install. it took me a better part of the day to install it. its really simple but you may want to raise the car nd remove the wheels for better access.

It shouldn't cost more than $500 to prep, prime, and paint a difficult color. Installation shouldn't be more than $100.

Painted and installed for $200. Find a shade tree painter that has access to a booth and will do it on the side (usually its some guy our age; preview his work first) Install it yourself, I installed mine with the email help of erty. Best thing to do is wake up early on a Sat. morning cause if you are by yourself it takes a couple hours. PM me and I'll forward the email he sent me with pics.
