I asked this same question in the 6th Gen Forum. But since it's a newer car no one answered. Is there a 4th Gen that does under 10's on the track? I've seen 5th Gen videos. I wanna see this. I wanna show my Mustang 5.0 loving friend. He thinks those cars are the best.

 

10.5 is the lowest i've seen.

 

There are perhaps dozens that run low 9's ...

 

11.5 is the fastest a maxima has ever gone to our knowledge.

 

under 10's? even a r34 skyline z-tune only manages 10.2 and that supposedly is the fastest production car built. i doubt there are any street legal 4th gens in the 10's

 

now if a max can make it to the 11's with the VQ30DE blown and with nos imagine a VQ35DE with the same amount of modifications it could be possible for those 4th hybrids out there

 

it would also depend on the drivers overall performance too.

This is not really on subject, but if anybody cares to answer... What gen Max is the best to have? Speed wise? Mod ability? Woud I be better off moving up a few styles or spending the cash on MOD's for my family auot-cruiser?

 

Best bet drop a 3.5L from an 02+ in there ...IMO

 

start by dropping that gle for a 5 speed ....

 

Or dropping a 5spd in the GLE..

 

How fast is your friend's 5.0? I'm sure that can't do 1/4 mile in under 10

About 20 people here run 9's ... And you shouldn't lie either because you are and I know it ... but feel free to me with pics/links/timeslips because it be the fastest maxima I know of ... ...
