Problems With My Max!

Im running a 97 maxima with gr2 and eibachs.
every time i hit a small bump i hear a squeak on the right side.
like a mouse is squeaking.

#2 my car the steering wheel shakes very hard as soon as i hit 2nd gear and when i hit up to the 4th it doesnt shake any more.

#3 my maxima brakes arent good at all. i changed them in to the brembo drilled and slotted and its a little better than before but it doesnt brake? maybe bleed them?

#4 my knock sensor is malfunctioning

#5 my car when it is in drive and stopped. im holding onto the brakek the car kicks forward . doesnt move but feels like something kicking. and vibrates a lot . but when im on neutral everything is fine nothing shakes nor vibrates.

what can be the problems?

i just changed my spark plugs also to the ngk platinums

anyone please help. thankyou beforehand.

and i just added the ypipe and the catalytic converter.

#1, maybe your shock are blown or leaking
#2, not too sure
#3, maximas dont have the best brakes, you can upgrade to the 300ZX rotors and caliper, but you'll need at least 16" wheels
#4, replace it, they go out often
#5, i own a 5 speed, so i wouldnt know

anyone know where the best place is to get a ks. or the rear O2 sensor, for that matter. car was running fine, then 2 codes came up at once. 0707 knock sensor, and 0304 rear O2 sensor. and will it hurt me to run the car without replacing these parts right away. im running 91-93 gas, so im not too worried about knock. just curious...

1) Assuming your struts are good, I would have to say that this is your Strut Mount on that side. My car was doing the same (squeak when going bumps on the passenger side). I changed the Strut Mount and all is good.

Sorry, can't help much with the rest. If you have the knocksensor engine code, by all means change it. See if that fixes some of your engine roughness problems. Good luck!

when your knock sensor isnt working, your car is automatically running retarded timing, so no damage is done, but you will lose performance and gas mileage, actually you will lose a lot more gas mileage since both your o2 sensor and ks is shot.

Agreed. Fix KS first chance you get. Then you will better be able to diagnose the other problems with the way the engine runs.
