Another Max now sporting 300ZX TT Calipers with 13" Cobra rotors!!

Hey Guys, thought you might like to see another Maxima with the 300ZX TT 30mm BBK, special thanks to Jeff92se for providing the caliper relocation brackets and Matt Blehm for the SS brake lines. Here's a couple of pics, there' s more in my domain with a little DIY help on page 3:

Hey! The Alessio's require approx 1/2" spacer, many questions are probably answered on my domain page 3

Great job MAXRB8! Can't wait to see it at the next meet. How much did you spend on the whole setup? I plan on doing the same when I put on my 18's.

sorry to ***** the thread, but would upgrading the brakes on a non-ABS car be beneficial in any way?

You get the same benefit as the guys who have ABS. If you know how to brake you shouldn't have any problems.

Nice work Andrew. Hope you didn't get a speeding ticket while bedding the brakes. Where'd you source the calipers? Also did you need to get your rotors redrilled? I've been looking into getting the Baer EradiSpeed+ 2 piece Rotors...they're freaking expensive.

Andrew, what do you mean longer welded studs? if you mean the wheel studs, you know they just press in. you can get longer wheel studs at any auto store. any vibration issues with the non hub centric spacers?

Because I chose the adapter route I hadn't looked into the longer studs, I just ASSumed being longer they would need welding. My stock caliper on the right side was seized so the timing for this kit was almost perfect I would have liked a little more time for the longer stud thing, but now I have time I will be sourcing out some longer wheel studs as I only need a 1/2" clearance of my caliper and the 1" I have presently pushes my wheel out too far for my liking.......... I'm just so dam picky. . Do you or anyone know where I can get the longer studs on line?

Actually I still haven't spent over the original dealer asking price when I bought it back in Nov 03, it sat in a chrysler dealer for 7 months being a 5 speed and on a domestic lot it just didn't move and I watched it for the whole time as the price dropped and dropped. If you look at it that way I haven't spent that much, and also thanks to the help of many org member deals and ebay.
