Its about time for me to get new rubber so I was thinking which ones are the best and what everybody runs on the ORG, thinks... What do you think of Falken ZE512 and TOYO proxes 4? Thanks everybody
Im thinking about getting the falken ziex 512s too anyway here is a link to some reviews on the falkens. http://www.epinions.com/Falken_Ziex_...splay_~reviews
i have the falkens... and their pretty good in dry weather, and very good in the rain. Haven't drove in snow, so don't really know. Overall, pretty good tires with good performance and look.
i used both, the toyo proxes 4 n the falken ziex 512. i'd get whichever is cheaper which is most likely the falken. but i would get the toyo's if price wasn't that much of a difference. i liked the toyo's better in the rain and i ran with them in the snow with no problems.

i just picked up some Bridgestone Potenza G009's really nice tires. they are h rated all season, but it poured where i live, and when i went for a drive i could completely open it up without any tire slip. and since i dont have abs i only locked up the tires from 50 for about the last five feet, at full force of course. price is decent too. when i got them on it was $486 for everything.
i just put Potenza G009s on also and i like them... i was told that they dont last as long but i looked at the reviews on tirerack and they were rated very good and they wernt that expensive i paid 360 for all 4..(price matching is fun).... but since i have had them on the tires grip really well when i drive the like i stole it.
just my .02
just my .02
yes i can but i have to actually have to try... .before with my toyos i could easily... but with the G009s they grip alot more and so it takes a little more effort to chirp them.. they grip and go most of the time and hold to the road....maybe it is because they are so new and havent had time to wear in.... i havent gotten them to chirp in 3rd yet.. but i am working on it
I've also used h-rated Dunlop SP sport A2's for years (on several cars before my max that i've had a year now). They're a good choice for all-around performance, work OK in snow too. I seem to always have breaking-in issues with them though (like car pulls one way for a while even though alignment is OK). I'm going with another brand next time, just to see if I can do better.
shop for tires at the www.tirerack.com shop by size, and you can select performance ratings, speed ratrings and such
