well basically the problems im having is when i sink the clutch there is a rattling also im not gettin good acceleration at all it feels as if i am forcing the car to get to 60 mph literally. also if u open the hood and move the gear shifter around in nuetral (like wiggle it) u will hear a knocking or rattling. im also gettin terrible gas mileage. like very terrible. it was never like this before anyone have any idea what this could mean? thanks for the help guys

 

another thing maybe its the spark plugs . . the car has about 168k on it

Knock sensor, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, a combination?

If you haven't done much work on the car it might not be just one thing.

Try to see if you can pull any codes, best of luck.

 

could be alot of problems just let your mechanic to check the car

 

sounds like a good tune up is in order.

 

**** that ill tune the car up myself . . looks like ill go the knock sensor and spark plug routes first cuz i just put a hybrid on there. thanks guys . . anyone have a knock sensor for sale?
