Corner lights in tails - quick question

Hey folks,

Just wondering if I'm missing something but those corner lights that are in the tails..you know the ones under the red reflector...they should come on when the parking lights are on; correct? Because both sides no longer come on and thats quite odd seeing as the bulbs don't look blown. I'm assuming its a fuse but I would think that fuse would be inline with something else that I would have noticed to be out.

Just making sure those lights should be on when the parking lights or H/L are on. I'm gonna run outside now and check the fuse.

Thanks.

If you're talking about the ones that use 194 bulbs, then yes, they should be on.

yep. thanks for the quick response. I just checked all the fuses which refered to tails and I didn't find any blown. I just did the DTM mod and while i was testing the lights I noticed the both of them out in the corners. ugh....anybody have any ideas? cause im out.

I never have specifically noticed them shining on my car either now that I come to think of it. Maybe I just never paid close enough attention...I don't really think they serve any important function though. Post some pics of how the DTM mod turned out!

Are you referring to the "wedge lights" on the bottom half of the ouside corners of the tail lights?

Those should be on with the parking lights. Even if they don't look burnt I'd try to replace them anyway...they're not that expensive and it's better to start small than to jump to concludions and start messing with fuses or wiring.

They should be on the same circuit as the tail lights (the rear marker side of the tail bulbs, not the brake light side).

Good luck!

These ones:

(I've never really noticed them looking at my lights, except for when I did the DTM mod)

I always have my headlights on, so I guess that's when they should be on.

yeah...i know its not the fuse cause i found out that the wiring that those lights are on are the same as the license plate lights and stop light filiment in tails. I'll pick some bulbs up after work and let ya'll know. thanks.
