Auto vibrates in 3rd

Hey does anybody have this problem? when cruzin in 3rd gear i give it a little gas to speed up i feel the trans shudder and vibrate! And the car becomes slow! Has this happened to anyone?

Lock-up torque converter. If the rpms suddenly go up after a little more throttle is applied, then it's disengaging and normal.
