Timing Chain / belt replacement ???

first of all does my 99 max have a timing chain or timing belt, and if anyone knows this when does it need to be replaced, i heard if its a timing belt they usually need to be doen around 90-100k, but im not sure about the chain???

i have about 90k on my car now and i about to move to FL from ohio at the end of the month so i need to know the answer to my questions asap.

You have a timing chain.

There are people here with over 200k and no problems.. If anything needs replacement, it's the chain tensioner. Buy a haynes or Chilton for further explanation, or use that money to donate so you can search.
