You can run the 300z caliper on the oem 300zx rotor. And it willl allow the use of 16" wheels. But you will need some wheels with alot of spoke clearance. The wheel dia is NOT the only factor.
it will also no longer be a cobra bbk.

did you happen to find out the clearance for me?
I just got g35 18's, and while im sure i can fit the calipers on there with the 300zx rotors, I would really like the cobra kit.

Beat ya to it. You won't have a problem. MEGA clearance for the 13" rotor and the wide caliper.

Unless you already have the rings, you should just go ahead and order the brackets and the centering rings for the cobra rotor at the same time. I sell both now. Price for both is $45 shipped. So $45 x 2 and you are there. The brackets are in stock. The rings are on back order for about 1 week.

oh man. unexpected expenses. right as i was about to send the money for the brackets.
do you mean $45 each? so $90 total. The rings are a vital part of the setup i assume?
Thanks,
Mike

No rings yet. Still 3-4 days out. The offset is 30mm about. But it's not just the offset, it's the design. So far people have run:
1) Cobra wheels me NOTE: I also run 96 Mustang GT wheels. Exact same offset but no workie. Design was diff and didn't allow the needed clearance.
2) 350z Track editions me
3) G35 Coupe wheels me and Irish
4) 17" G35 sedan wheels. Irish
4) Some TSW revos? as above.
5) I believe the 350z tourings will work. aka most 350z wheels as most G35 wheels ( I think)
6) Some are running expensive Volks TE37s or GTs.
7) Some are running SSRs but need spacers.
