illuminas or Agx

What adjustable strut is better and rides more comfy? I curently have tein h-techs and kyb gr-2's and it rides to rough for my taste. What strut will make it ride more smoothly?

Illuminas.

I have Illuminas set on the highest/softest setting of 5 with S-Techs my ride has not diminished that much from stock comfort.

For comfort go with the Illuminas. If you want a stiff ride get AGX's

My AGX's are pretty stiff on 3F/7R, but at 1F/1R they are really squishy (bottoms out sometimes!!)

I would definitely go with the illuminas. Best shock/strut combo for the money IMO.

I got my strut/shock combo for $550 shipped from ebay, new of course.
When changing struts, you would have to transfer the top portion of the suspension from your old setup to your new, and probably get new dustboots like the KYB's (KB103 + KB108) with integrated shorter bumpstops.

I agree...I love them and I have the same settings. I had KYB AGX once before on my honda, and it was cool...but I like the illuminas better. So go with that, that is just what I suggest

get some tein basic coilovers...after paying for the illuminas, springs, bump stops and all the other jazz it will equal the cost of coilovers!..... 755 shipped for tein basics .... plus youll have adjustable height

^^ I agree with him. If I could redo it all over again I would get the Tein Basics. Not because my suspension is bad or anything because I love it, but after all I needed to get and the simple fact of adjusting the height for the winter season is far superior to any strut/spring combo. However, I do personally feel the S-Techs/Illuminas is best strut/spring combo for our A32's.

After reading about all the jazz you have to buy in addition to the springs and struts I think im just gonna save my money and go for the Tein basics myself. I dont mind riding around on stock height in order to get the best for my A32.
