This is 15% tint... absolutely love it! Not to dark and not to light either...

BTW these pics are 2 years old and the ugly a$$ wheel gap and rims have been resolved.

****ty thing is, after the people who tinted my car did a real ****ty job doing it, i brought it back and made them re-do the back window. Well i turned my defroster on the other day and it burned a f***in hole on one of the lines, in the tint.

 

I never use my rear deforst because it can make the back window bubble up, but damn, burning hole in the ****!?!?

just put a 9" visor on about 3 weeks ago and it looks sick, but i don't have any pics yet. oh yeah- my tints are illegal in most, i think all, states and i've gotten one ticket. so i say def check your tint laws before doing anything

 

I went with a nice blend... so its dark in the back.. and kinda dark in the front.. with out getting pulled over, or making a HUGE change between front and back. 35% front, 15% rear

What's the max tint you can have in most states?

 

There was an article in today's local paper talking about how my town's law enforcement is cracking down on a 9 yr old law on window tint. They are supposedly going to be pulling people with tints over and chacking them with light meters and then giving 5 days to remove any illegal tint. I've got 20% all around and they are stating that 70% light must pass through the windows. This is Brutal! I guess that means I'll only be able to tint 70%?! I may as well pull it off and not have any tint.

I'm interested in tinting my Max. I was just wondering what colors are out there. Seems most of them in this board are black (one copper). I've seen some silvery on the streets that look really good. What other colors are out there? Does anyone know someone reputable in the CT/NY area to install them? I don't want junky ones that buble up.

 

all i know is that..i have smoke tint on my car..there is also bronze HP and titanium....im kinda upset i didnt go with titanium..its a little darkerthan smoke...but hell..smoke looks clean on a pearl colored maxima. Check out titanium i recommend.

Isn't stock tint 95%? I remember reading that on some thread, but the person might of pulled that out of his a$s.

 

i think that silver-y mirror crap looks very cheap. but yeah lifetime warranty is a must, but taking your car in to have them re-do it and get their messy chemicals all in your car again is a HASSLE.

 

i live in NH and it is illegal to have any tint on the front passenger and driver side... and only 35% in the back.... so i want to tint but think it wouldnt look right... but then again my magnum has it like that and it doenst look bad.....

does any one have theres tinted like that? no tint in the front windows but tint on all the others? i would love to see... expecially if you have a rosewood max...
