Led Brake Light Problem

I have a 96' SE and my led brake light in the spoiler does not work. I can't seem to find any other post but I see quite a bit of other max's on the street with their led brake lights not working either so I thought this was common problem. With a probe, I got voltage on the wire going to the spoiler. With an offset screw driver, I tried to loosen the phillips screw on the led light and it would not brake loose. I didn't want to try harder because fear of breaking something. Anyone got suggestions or know whats wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, now I know why I didn't get any response on my post. I found it in maxima.org/shoptalk. I followed the instructions and the resistor was blown. I replaced it with a 1 W vs. a 1/2 W because the store I went to didn't have 1/2 W. Hopefully this will be better but in any case, it works.
